The Third day af SFO

golden gate-2 macy's

I wake up early this morning to catch the cruise to Golden Gate. While I got to Pier 39, it started to rain. Luckily, I had brought my umbrella with me. In addition, I put on the waterproof jacket that I wore while it snowed at Boston. Therefore, I could stand on the deck and “enjoy” the wind blowing into my face. The Golden Gate spans quite a distance. I was surely astonished by such a grand construction. However, it was really so cold today that I returned to the cabin right after seeing the Golden Gate.

After noon, I visited the China Town. It is really interesting to see that almost everything there is so “Chinese.” Even the exterior of Bank of American resembles the structure of the temple.

After having dinner, I fooled around the Union Square. There are so many stores and shops around this area. I felt like that I was walking in the Eastern District of Taipei City. (The weather here is really like that of Taiwan, anyway!)
