The Second Day at SFO

lombard street-3 palace2

Today, I took cable car to the famous Lombard Street. The street is really crooked. Not just that! I found the mansions along the Lombard Street are all elegantly designed.

Then, I went to the Palace of Fine Arts and Exploratorium. Exploratorium is like a science park. There are a lot of interactive equipments that demonstrate various kinds of principles of natural science.

I was so attracted to the huge toys in Exploratorium that I almost forgot to eat my lunch. Therefore, I went to Ghirardelli Square for a huge meal. Unbelievably, the waitress waiting on me happened to used to be an English teacher in Taiwan last year. She even speaks Mandarin expressively.

P.S. It is really cold today, so I finally made up my mind not visiting the Yosemite National Park. I think it must be much colder in the mountains. Therefore, I think I have to reschedule my trip to Monterey.
