The Fifth Day at SFO

tank sea & sky

I joined a tour to Monterey today. It was a really delightful and educational trip.

We stopped by the Half Moon Bay and saw the horses and cows grazing in the open fields. I even saw the pumpkins. They looked like giant oranges on the ground to me. Next, we went to the Monterey Bay. I had great fun at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I loved the exhibition of jelly fishes most. They are so adorable to me. Then, we went through the legendary 17-Mile Drive. The Pebble Beach is really spectacular. It is really huge. For instance, five golf courses are designed in this area. In addition, there are grand seascape and incredibly awesome mansions along the roads in the Pebble Beach. According to our driver, many celebrities and movies stars like John Travolta have residences here. In the late evening, we spent our time at Carmel. Carmel is like an elegantly arranged mall which is supposed to be a shopping paradise, but I just had my dinner and drank a cup of hot chocolate.

One our way back to San Francisco, our driver broadcasted a video tape about Yosemite. I really enjoyed the program. It told about the story of the creation of the park and presented beautiful photos and video clips of Yosemite. I hope that I can be there some day!
