The Sixth Day at SFO

golden gate

I rented a bike to ride across the Golden Gate Bridge this morning. The weather “was” delightful and the scenery is appealing. However, it started to rain in the afternoon. Besides, I got lost. Therefore, I was off the bicycle tracks and ran into endless hills. To reach the hill in a cable car is one thing; to ride over a hill is another. It might make sense that I can use the down hill momentum to climb against the steep slope. In fact, the slopes were so steep that I could not even ride on my bike. I had to walk my bike in order to have a safe “ride.” Anyway, when I finally got to the Golden Gate Park, it started to rain heavily. I had no choices but to get on a bus back to Fishermen’s Warf to return my bike.

On the other hand, because I ended my bike trip earlier than I had planned, I could spend plenty time walking around the Fishermen’s Warf. I went to chocolate factory to buy their hand made chocolate and went sight seeing around the area. Though it still rains outdoors, my world is filled with sunshine and happiness because I had this invaluable opportunity to explore this city.

P.S. My legs are so sore to an extent I really eager for a hot bath.
