This movie is densely layered, containing the element of drama within drama.
Needless to say, the beauty of this movie is the choreographic dances and the expressive Tango music that really complements the visual magnificence. I was so impressed by the characters’ dancing that I was literally stepping my feet on the floor while I watched the movie all the way. The “pas de deux” within the play is breathtaking. They moved their legs so fast that my eyes movement could not even follow. In addition, the “pas de trois” is even more graceful and fascinating.
This film is not just a visual delight but also a creative cinema of profound metaphors. For example, an analogy between Argentinian general and a mafia who tries to murder his inamorata is sophisticatedly designed. In essence, I really believe that any one how love tango would definitely love this movie.
