My first baseball game is the Red Sox in Fenway!
As I saw the baseball field, my jaw was dropping. I did not realize that the ball park is such a giant stadium. (It looks much smaller on TV.) The game started in fog, mist and 49-degree temperatures. After three innings, it started to rain as Ranger kept gaining points. We were so hoping that the game would have been called in the third inning. Yet, the game was called after the delay at the sixth inning. What a pity!
Still, I would not say I was unlucky. Because of the steady rain, I witnessed the staffs spread out one giant piece of tarp to prevent the soils getting to wet. According to a Bostonian, this also the first time she’s ever seen anything like that.

Yeah...I was going to say you're quite lucky, to see the Fenway Park showing its different faces.
However, I remember when I got there for the first time, I was shocked it's such a small ballpark -- it looks bigger on the TV! In fact, it's the smallest MLB ball park. The official tried to build a new large one, but the Bostonians did what they did to the CITGO sign -- to hold it in their arms and never let go. :)
謝謝賜教!我還不知道Fenway算小球場呢,真不知道看到大球場的我會有多震撼呢!
PS
球賽看現場感覺真的很不一樣說~
