Tonight, my Italian friend took me to a Sushi restaurant. We had a Sushi Deluxe together and I was pretty satisfied with the fresh raw fish.
After finishing the plate, the usher told us that the place was equipped with Karaoke. Some African Americans were actually holding microphones and singing songs while she told us the good news. Then, my Italian friend asked if I would like to request a song that I liked. At that particular moment, “Always”, by Bon Jovi, crossed my mind. As I told her that I would like to sing the “Always”, she said to me surprisingly: “Are you sure? That’s so difficult.” “Well, any way, I just love it” I replied.
To cut the story shorter, I now fast forward to the part when I finished “performing” the song. (Well, it was not perfect but definitely good enough.) Almost all the native speakers in the restaurant seemed to be quite impressed to witness that an Asian female like me would sing a song by Bon Jovi so well. Not just that, one African American even said to me that my voice had reached her heart. COOL!

老師,終於找到你了!之前有回梅高,向梅子老師要了您的skype,可惜我這兒出了問題,所以就沒辦法了.大一的過渡期已經過去了,已經能好好安兼間享受大學的生活.現在最擔心的就是英文,沉浸在中文的世界裡,幾乎都忘了去學習也挺喜愛的外文,要好好努力向老師您看齊才是.最後,在此向您拜個晚年,希望您再納一切順利.

大一對大學新鮮人而言確實是需要一點時間去適應，我現在也才終於漸漸適應這裡的生活呢！恭喜你已經找到自己的tempo囉！
別跟我看齊啦～我的中文退步地很厲害（這是我的網誌用英文寫的主因），現在都不能用中文很清楚地表達我的想法了。
我想你不用太擔心自己的英文程度啦，相信語文天才如你，只要不要中斷學習，你的英文肯定也是進步得很快的！
