A Peruvian Experience

Today, the professor of “Plays for Children” took the class to the Science Museum. She introduced us a “Discovery Room”, where there were lots of activities for children to explore. To my surprise, there was even a huge “water tank” that offered the opportunities for kids to play with water and floating model ships.

We also participated in some activities and enjoyed wonderful time. After three hours’ play, we were all starving already. One Peruvian girl suggested that we could go to a Peruvian restaurant. We were all so glad to second her idea. Therefore, we drove to the restaurant with the professor and started another adventure. When we got in the dinning place, she was so excited to hear the Peruvian music. Then, she ordered the dishes for us. While I saw the plates, I was astonished. They looked so delicious. Better yet, they tasted even dainty. Personally, I loved the drink most. It was made of “Purple Corns”, but tasted like sweet fruit tea to me.

It is such a distinct opportunity to have Peruvian food with a Peruvian from Lima.
