Rose Bowl

Tonight is one of the most glorious moments for most Texans: UT won the Rose Bowl this year.

I watched the game with my uncle and cousin. Never had I watched a football game before. Today, I finally realize what a quarterback does in the field: passing balls and rushing to the end zone. I also figure out the reason why all Forrest Gump has to do is to catch the ball and run.

It was a thrilling match. UT’s quarterback, Vince Young, was amazing. I could barely breathe while watching him rushing among the other players. He ran so fast and smoothly as if he had been the only player in the grand field. It was so exciting to see him “touch down.”

P.S. The Americans are really into sports. One seat near the end zone costs two thousand dollars!

P.S.-2 This game was projected onto a big screen in a theater around our neighborhood.
