University of Washington

01

University of Washington is as beautiful as its legend. The campus scale is magnificent and the buildings are gorgeous as well. I have been to the College of Education. It is two times bigger than BU’s.

The Drumheller Fountain above is a huge surprise for me. Surrounded by a spectacular display of architectures, it looks like a towering decoration within castles.

UW also has a dock for sailing boats. There are even Hobie 16 models, light and speedy boats. Not just that, the canoes over there are as many as Pacific Sauries at market. I was so envying the UW students.

As I got to the Conibear Shellhouse, I was so excited to see their docks for the crew. The boathouse is a three-floor “paddle Palace.” The ground area has spacious rowing shell storage sections and training rooms. Trophy cases at main entrance record the glorious histories of Husky Crew. My personall favorite is the dining facility, overlooking the bay and connected the views of the parallel docks. I believe I would be thrilled if I ever get to row at Union Bay. UW students are really lucky!
