"I can't believe this is good-bye."

Since I am not going to staying with the two boys for another night, I had to say goodbye to them today.

In the afternoon, I accompanied their Mom to pick them up after school. While the elder one played with his pals at the play ground, the younger one was sharing me with his just-purchased-encyclopedia. I noticed that little one’s friends were around and then asked if he would love to hang out with his buddies. He responded, “If I spend time playing with them, I cannot talk to you. You are leaving, so I want to be with you.” What an adorable boy.

At dinner time, the Chengs and the Lins celebrated Moon Festival all together. Right after we finished out feast, the elder one gave me an unexpected present: a little comic story book. He folded the papers, drew the pictures and told a lovely story about how much he liked me. The lines were so touching that I was literally moved to tears.

I am so fortunate to have friends like them, so pure, sincere and honestly passionate.
