『最後一夜』

stanford-bb

To celebrate Moon Festival, the Los held a potluck at their backyard. We had various kinds of Moon Festival food: Korean grill, spring rolls, fried banana, meat stewed with soy sauce, moon cakes and etc…

After lunch, we watched an awesome video about Mr. A and Mr. T’s diving trip. Under the sea, the movement of a majestic mentaray was captured. The strength and harmony of the nature are fully impressed through the giant’s elegance. I wish I could dive someday like that as well. Then, Mr. T played a phenomenal “documentary” with description and background music based on the photos we took along the trip at Yosemite. With those shots, the wonderful memories we had had were right coming back to us.

At the late evening, Mr. A took me to Sanford University. There are a couple of Rodin’s sculptures at the campus. At dark, in the dim light, those bronze statues looked so sublime that they seemed to possess souls and feelings. Surely, the vividness was accredited to Rodin’s unparallel talent and operose labor.

On our way home, I tuned the radio to a six-graders friendly station and enjoyed music as great as Magic 106.7 had broadcasted while I was at Boston. Because it had been a while since I heard pleasant pop songs, I was so into the music that I really wanted to stay awake in the car.

I suppose that I have made the best use of my last day at San Jose.

PS The logo is Stanford University’s. According to Mr. A, SU’s mascot IS the big tree. That’s pretty interesting!
