Lovely Day

My professor of “Play and Child Development” took the class for a whale watching this morning.

I thought that it would be great if we could see three or four whales. It turned out that today’s trip was full of surprises. We saw dozens of humpbacks, including two cubs. We also saw plenty of dolphins. Some of them even swam with us along the ship. We even saw the endangered Right Whales. It is said that right whale’s population is around 300~400 and we saw 16 of them today: almost 3 % of the population. (One Right Whale swam right along our boat. The passengers were all thrilled!)

After the trip, we went to a restaurant for lunch (dinner) near the port. The food was delicious! Guess what! Whoopi Goldberg was right there! Professor and I even talked to her face to face. She is really friendly and just like what she is on the screen in person.

When we got back to Boston, I attended a potluck and had wonderful time with my friends across Charles River.
