潛水初體驗

0531

Today’s class was quite adventurous to me. We had the snorkeling system (mask, snorkel and fins) and air delivery system (cylinder and regulators) with us in the pool and practiced breathing the gas in the cylinder underwater. (The equipment is really heavy out of water.)

It is an indescribable sensation to breeze underwater through regulators. I felt less stressful tonight than I did last time. With the buoyancy compensator (BC) and weight of lead, I could easily dive in to the bottom of the pool with little effort by pushing a button to deflate the BC.

P.S. I have just found out that scuba is actually an acronym which stands for self-contained underwater breathing apparatus.
