The professor of TESOL gave back our mid-term papers this afternoon. I've got four A-. I was a little depressed because I worked really hard on the four articles. (I spent six weeks writing the papers.) After class, a friend of mine, a native speaker, asked me about my grades, I told her that I had straight A-. She told me a piece of comforting news. She said that almost every one had got only A-. It seemed that the professor only gave A for exceptionally outstanding performance.
I feel lucky I've acknowledged this before I begin to work on the giant term project. Now, I know that there's no point for me to push myself to extreme to get an A since it is just too challenging. I suppose I will just do my best and accept an A- for this course.
