Spanish Cuisine

We went to Newbury Street to have lunch at Tapeo Restaurant.

It is a cozy Spanish dining place. We have ordered an appetizer, an entrée and a special dessert. The appetizer is “Pepinos Rellenos”, beef and rice stuffed cucumber with tomato sauce. It is so delicious that it actually did give our great appetites. Our entrée is “Pescado a la Sal”, fresh fish baked in coarse salt. The fresh was covered within the salt while it is served. The attendant broke the “salt shell” for us and then cut the fish into slices on the plate. It is so cool! After finishing the fish, I suddenly had an urge to try Tapeo’s dessert, so we ordered something we had not tasted before “Peras al Vino Tinto”, pears poached in red wine. The pear is so fresh and distinctive. I really was impressed!

After lunch, we went to Boston Common for skating. Both of us were skating for the first time, so the ways we “skated” were not quite smooth at all.
