Beau~tiful!

I am so proud of what I have accomplished this afternoon.

The Verizon’s ADSL has been disconnected since noon. My new Korean roommate went to the Comcast to apply for a cable connection at noon. To save money, she chose the cheapest set-up type: by our selves. (It costs $100 to have our modem connected by a visiting associate.)

It took me a while to set up the whole equipments. However, though I was pretty sure that I had connected everything in the correct way, the computer still popped up “System Error.” I had not chance but to call the company for assistance. After practicing English for 15 minutes, I finally hooked up to internet. (By the way, I was really excited to find out that my effort did make a difference.)

Not just that, I had to configure the router to create wireless LAN for my roommate. Unfortunately, she lost the original “installation CD ROM. I had to set up the whole configurations by manual. The process was a little bit complicated to me.

Still, I happily announce that I am using wireless LAN right now. Thank to Belkin’s online instructions.

F.Y.I. The on-line instructions are created by FLASH.

Thank you for encouraging me.
I am glad that we can save lots of money by doing it on my own.
