A record-breaking trip!

Fried Egg

Jellyfish

We got up early this morning and set off to Austin.

When we arrived at Austin, we visited the capital of Texas and UT Austin. UT Austin is huge and it has beautiful dormitories like villas. In addition, the UT CO-OP sells various kinds of UT items. I wish the BU store could have as many as it does. In the afternoon, my uncle dropped my aunt and cousins at the Prime Outlet at San Marcos and drove me south to the Natural Bridge Caverns. It is a marvelous and spectacular limestone cave. The cavern is still growing! The formations are like wax or mud to me, but it is said that they are actually as hard as limestone. Two types of formations found there amused me most: "fried eggs" and “jellyfish.”

After dining at Wendy’s, we got back Plano.

P.S. This is the first time in my life that I ever stay in a car over eight hours per day. It is such a long trip. If the length is compared with that of Taiwan, it is like a ROUND trip from Keelung to Pingtung.
