ICE

Thanks to my uncle and aunt, I had a wonderful day today.

They took the whole family members to a magnificent recreation center: Gaylord Texan. (The three kids all associate the Gaylord with Gaylord Focker, one of the characters in Meet the Parents.) There is a giant green house in the center of the resort where guests can see plants, flowers, model houses and little moving trains. In addition to guest rooms, dining courts, and a fitness center with indoor swimming pool, the resort offers a special theme park at the moment: ICE. Guests can explore the icy world created by masters from Harbin, China. This is the first time I see the hand-carved ice. There are various kinds of monuments and sculptures. My favorite part of the exhibition is the icy slide. I truly enjoyed the thrill of sliding down hill all the way.
