The Eighth Day at SFO

This is my last day at San Francisco. Well, it is still raining today. How lucky I am!

I went to the SFMOMA this morning. The modern art exhibited there is pretty cool! Some artists even painted the whole canvases with the same color. In addition, I saw Chuck Close’s self portraits. He carefully transposes his image to a canvas or other surface using a grid: his self portraits are composed by thousand of dots on the canvases.

After that, I went to SONY again. There are several interesting stuffs there, including my favorite VAIO, PS2, PSP, and etc… I even saw a fantastic video game: Hyper Bowl. The player has to roll a bowling ball on a platform as fast as they can to move the virtue reality ball on the screen. The coolest part is that the scenes are set at Yosemite and California Ave. at SFO. While the player tries hard to hit a strike, he/she can see lots of tall trees and cable cars respectively as well.

After having my lunch, it is time to say good bye to this city. It is such a sweet sorrow to farewell to SFO. I have spent nearly eight days exploring this city. I am so familiar with almost all the scenery around it. I wonder when I can see this city for the second time.

P.S. “Thanks to” the rain, my flight to Dallas was delayed for TWO hours. I should have fooled around the city instead.
