Taiwan Storyland

1031-2

1031-1

1031-3

Taiwan Storyland, located in the basement of the Mitsukoshi department store near Taipei Train Station, is a place where two or three graders can rediscover their childhood.

It’s an underground alley full of memorabilia collected by its owner Franky Wu. As one entered the Taiwan Storyland, he/she can experience an imaginary old Taiwanese township with traditional buildings, street lanterns, antique motors, old-fashioned posters and etc…

One thing drew my attention particularly: a dental clinic. It displayed all the out-dated equipments: the chair, gas tanks, the sink and etc… They all look so familiar to me yet so different from what is commonly used now.

It is really a pleasant experience to explore a new place in Taipei City.
