明天的記憶

ashita

Ashita no Kioku”, Memories of Tomorrow, is truly touching film I have seen in the air. I was so moved that I shed the tears over and over in the passenger compartment.

The movie is about a mid-age-Japanese suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Ken Watanabe, the great warrior in “The Last Samurai”, interprets the character warmly and precisely. The fear and pains of losing memories and intellectual abilities are vividly depicted through his movements and facial expressions.

This film offers me further and deeper understanding about the disease and the feelings of people who suffer from it. It is definitely one of the best movies I have seen this year. I highly recommend it.
